Small / dwarf trees and shrubs up ideas?
We want to have fencing around the inside of our small trees. Any recs? I'm in zone 5b-6a. I do not want anything over 10 (15, I think, is the absolute upper limit). I love the look of white birch, I would do all in their backyard when it was small enough. Do they dwarf white birch? I have some Japanese maples picked out already. We need very different.
Hi: There are some good evergreen Dwarf trees for your climate zone and that would also improve your fence area. I am not aware of dwarf white birch. Here are some suggestions from full-size Some shrubs and small trees: Cypress – there are many shrubs that go seven fifty-five feet and give you great color. Dwarf Alberta Loropetalum – large full shrub that would do well in your zone. Arbor Vitae – many varieties Man, you could be a combination of shrubs and trees and give your area a defined bed along your fence. I will link to the gallery of plants section of my website.
